Stocking the stream

This is a rainbow we stocked this past winter. Steve has stocked this creek so very well this past year, making the fishing there the best I have encountered anywhere, and I mean, anywhere. I am hoping the fish are going to be ok with the hot weather we are experiencing this July/August.

An opening day palamino

Since I have a tiger, bow, etc on the blog I thought I would put a picture of a palamino I caught on the opening day. This was one of 4 palaminos I caught that day on a little stream outside of Brookeville. This one fell for a green weenie. It was a truly memorable opening day.

A Yellow Creek Tiger

This tiger was caught on an egg pattern. The distance from my butt cap to the cork is 11″. One day a new guy to the club threw a jointed rapala into the same spot. I witnessed a really large brown take the lure and bust his 8# test line like it was kite string and swim off with the plug in his mouth. What a fish! I would guess the length of that fish to push 30″.
