This is a nice rainbow Al got a couple of winters ago. This is when the creek is at its best for us to fish, uncrowded, cooperative fish, and the beauty of the valley.

A Yellow Creek Tiger
This tiger was caught on an egg pattern. The distance from my butt cap to the cork is 11″. One day a new guy to the club threw a jointed rapala into the same spot. I witnessed a really large brown take the lure and bust his 8# test line like it was kite string and swim off with the plug in his mouth. What a fish! I would guess the length of that fish to push 30″.
